Just unscrew the tube from the bracket, clean it( or put a new tube on), screw it back on.
There is no oil here...if you talking about the bracket that holds the sensor in place..
why is there rtv there to seal? or is it not needed?
thanks for the fast reply...i know some say they clean the hole in the bracket...just thought it would be easier with it out of the truck....
thanks again

The other of the tube screws into the front side of the passenger exhaust manifold.. sometimes this fitting is rusted.. you might want to spray some FreeAll or penetrating oil here a couple of hours before you remove the tube. It just pressure from the exhaust the sensor is measuring.. no oil involved..
no not the tube...the actual bracket. the one that the sensor and the tube attach to. there are 2 bolts that hold the bracket to the hpop resivour. the tube is off and the sensor is out...just want to clean the hole in the bracket for the sensor and tube to flow freely...any ideas on this?
i was just hoping to get the hole in the bracket cleaned up spotless before installing a brand new tube and sensor...ill try with out removing, i dont want to lose all the oil in my hpop
