Well the exhaust is on. Started at about 5, finished at 8:15. Took almost two and a half hours to get the old exhaust out, there's barely any room to drop it when you don't have a lift and maneuver it out, especially with all of the crap hanging off of the frame.
Install was easy though, it sucked with everything being the temp that it was outside, since all but the FL corner of the truck from the tire forward stuck out of the garage (at least I was out of the rain besides the stuff that was falling on me under the truck). The old kit I had on the last truck (Magnaflow) had band clamps and this had regular ones, so it was a bit harder tightening everything down enough so it won't move, but not tight enough to bend the pipes and clamp it down.
I didn't have a chance to "test" it yet, Riley was with me so I had to drive like a normal human. But cruising it's as quiet as stock... all I can hear is tire/wind noise. Getting on the gas, it's a little grumble.
Looks nice too. All of Corsa's pictures show it coming straight out behind the tires and it's angled. It could be a fluke thing, or it could be that I did tell the rep I had been talking to about fitment that I was looking preferably for an angled kit
Pics will come tomorrow... I couldn't get any good ones in a tight garage.
That's the last time I'll be hearing it for a while!!! Well, the next mod will be a blanket like the one that Riley was given when I adopted her just for the truck, and maybe a toolbox with a Fisher repair kit in it. But that'll do
Took it out for a spin... it's SO quiet. It should be a little louder when it breaks in I assume. But when you give it more than half-throttle it sounds really nice. Cruising you barely hear it.
