morning guys. found out a little more about the f150 custom.

heres some info.
1981 Ford f150 custom manual 4speed 300 (4.9l) inline 6 with flareside bed.

extra add-ons: are Mack bull dog on hood and roof lights after market radio (one speaker works) sun roof.

all lights work expt pass sidemarker and driver side highbeam. wood in bed is actually in decent shape a little rot on the edges. motor smokes and rumbles and tumbles. (bad shaking) hard to start. no heat (hoes to heatcore were cut and bypassed on motor) i dont think some of the gauges work. tires

Just cleaned out the '83's cab, forgot how much crap I had in there. Battery on the charger, it'll be nice to hear it run again.

Fern nice little project truck there. What's the plan? Are you gonna just get it running and restore the '74 or drive the '74 and restore the '81.

Interesting that it's grill and hood letters I thought was a '80 model only.

so my one squeak went away, now i have a bad squeel when i brake, a bad squeel when i turn (really loud/annoying) and when im coasting. yay

Lol...I made a video my friend said its not ps pump or ball joints but front passenger brakes. The wheel I already took off. Only happens when I turn hard right

 

evening guys , pulled my summer tires out of storage lol i have 31 matching lugs that take 1 key and 1 mismatched lug with a different key, of course my nephew lost the key i need most rather than the odd ball key when he changed my tires for me in the fall. so much for putting them on today. Hopefully tires plus wheels has a key in the morning.
