I have pushloc on mine that is clamped. It's no problem especially with the clamps he is using. Those clamps won't cut into the hose much.. Mine uses pushloc and clamps onto the stock steel fuel line for supply and return.
the stuff i got from jegs i thought it said it was diesel rated... its high temp and pressure rated too. if it goes then it goes, but yeah the clamps i use dont cut into the line at all, spent alot more money on them, about 20$ for the 3 boxes but its well worth it.
the filters are near touching the top of the frame rail. i bet with some real close and custom work you could get them to just touch the bottom of the rail, i personally like seeing them on the bottom alot, plus mines a road queen and never sees dirt lmao the filters and bases are kind of long, so it will be close if you do raise them! theres about another inche or two above the frame before it hits the cab floor. im will to bet it can be done.
ok sooooo i just checked out that hose from jegs.. i only read the first line and i thought it was ok lol
says its not for use on fuel... is it going to deteriorate and mess up my injectors?
I doubt they will screw up the injectors, but rather crack and start leaking. It might be something to ask Jegs or maybe run them til you can change them out with something else. The line on mine is a goodyear fuel line. I will get some numbers for you and text them to you later. Back when I had the stock fuel system I used some fuel line I found at the parts store that was kinda questionable to be using on diesel. It didn't have any harmful effects and I'm sure that line you have is probably better than I used to have on my stock system
