Probably a 3.5 to 4hr dent plus paint. Pull tail light and bumper for paint. Should be able to tape glass but can also pull it instead of taping it. The paint can be blended within the panel so you will not get into the door. Around $500 plus tax here at $38/hr for body and paint labor. I don't see pinstripe but it would add around $25 and if there is any cladding to pull that would also add cost. You pull all trim to prepare for paint which increases costs but makes for a good job.
Paint can be blended but whole panel will need to be clear coated so more than likely you will have a seam on roof were it would be less noticeable. Labor rate will vary depending on location.
I agree the whole panel will definitely need to be clear coated but it should be broken at the roof as you mentioned. Otherwise you will be chasing your tail and spending some bucks. I have shops that I work with which would argue going all the way across the roof. That is just a money grab on their part. Labor rate and even hours are actually subjective based on area. A four hour dent here in Nashville may be six hours in Detroit. It is really dependent on what shops are agreeable to in the area where the Ex is being repaired. Any shop worth it's salt will guarantee the job as long as you own the truck. The cheapest bid or highest bid are generally not always indicative of the quality of work that will be done. Good luck.

$38/hr for labor??? where do you live at??? around here we are at about $80/hr. i had a good crunch on my r/ 1/4 panel when a bus hit it. they replaced the 1/4 panel, r/r door assembly, and all the rest of the crap. total was over $8200.
$38/hour for body or paint in Nashville area. This is close to the norm in much of the south where I have done insurance work for years. Now if we are talking mechanical rate from a service dept then we are in the $80 range and up. Especially for the snobby european cars which are generally $100 plus at their service depts.

I have posted previously reminding people that a lot of work can be done by the body shop and not service for much less money. I have seen mirrors, trim, interior and audio work done in service dept at $80 when body shop would have done at $38/hr. Generally at a dealer the service dept and body shop don't really get along. Often the body shop will sublet mechanical work (alignment, tires, etc.) elsewhere because service is to high and won't work the body shop on price. Both depts only care about their profit and the service dept especially will take work they should forward the customer to body shop on.

Just my observation from working with numerous shops over the years.
I was backing up (late night and snowy) and didn't know there was a another truck in our driveway. basicly idled right into the other trucks side mirror.
