I just looked at my saved file in scanner and it is definitely PSI and when vehicle is running and moving through all RPMS it does NOT fluctuate at all.

It reads 31.3 PSI ALWAYS

I think I found a link that says it is under the dash. If someone can verify please do.

Thanks. Jim

baro reading 31 psi is an issue. but as benny said you may be in kpa and if you devide that by 1/2 its close to correct.

Also - 30 inches of Hg = 14.7 psi

I have a pic of what the Baro looks like in my albums somewhere ..........

Well - I guess I don't - sorry.

Here is a description:

Inside the vehicle, under the steering column (drivers side of the dash). C2256 is the connector number in the wiring diagram. Wire colours to the connector are brown with a white stripe for your 5 volt V-ref, dark blue with light green stripe is your signal wire which should have continuity between the sensor and pin #38 of the main PCM connector, and grey with red stripe coloured wire which is your signal return. This wire should have continuity with pin #33 of the PCM connector.

Remove the access panel and look along the metal brace at the bottom of the opening toward the right near the Data Link Connector... the BARO sensor is secured to the metal brace.

Look at your EBP, MAP and BARO readings at key-on/engine-off. Now unplug the BARO sensor and see what reading you get. Better yet, if you can borrow one from another truck to plug in, that will verify the sensor to be faulty 100%. To be honest, I have NEVER seen a BARO sensor fail, YET.

And yes, the BARO reading should remain constant from key-on/engine-off to key-on/engine-running.

I have removed the Barometric Sensor and started truck TURBO DEAD altogether now, no Boost reading on DASH whatsoever. Scan tool still shows 31 +/- PSI. Unfortuantely I donot have access to a used one ( Unless I run over to the Local Walmart and look for unlocked doors )

I got codes P0107 -MAP/BARO Sensor Low
U2023 -Fault received form External Node

After unplugging the BARO Sensor.

I am going to Ford to get a new Baro Sensor Monday. If is doesn't fix it
it won't be the first part I wasted money on on this truck.

Will keep posted.

Thanks
