There is a lack of perfection somewhere along there that's for sure.
Out of all those, I've only had one injector issue and that was because I didn't tighten the oil rail enough after I put in my modified injectors. That does tend to slant me a certain way.
Operator error is a host of some problems no doubt...
As for my truck, if it wasn't the pesky oil leaks I could claim perfection at ~140k miles. But then again the guy's who park their trucks on gravel, company lots etc, wouldn't think twice about an oil drip hitting the ground.
OP if I were you I would go with a 2009 or 2010 6.4 powerstroke. The 08s had quite a bit of problems so I'd stay away from those and plus with and 09 or 10 you are getting one or two more years under warranty. Of course you could always get another 6.0 just to stick with something you already know about. However, I would avoid the new 6.7 because since its the first year theres a good chance they could have some problems (given Ford's previous track record). Also, they have urea injection which you have to fill up the tank for it every oil change and they are so quiet that you can hear your hair growing which totally takes away from the fun of driving a diesel.
