np435 or not
has anyone swapped a 435 in place of a m5od in a 95 f150???truck info is a 4.9 300 6...is it true the bell housing is the same???that they use the same patern...what do you think???

The M5R2 has an integrated bellhousing, but the pattern on the back of the engine is the same regardless of which transmission it had.

so the 5 spd doesnt have a removable bell housing on it...nuts...so i have to find one off another tranny that the motor was a 302,351,or 300 correct???

You would also have to convert it to an external slave cylinder.

ok well thanks for all the input on this...i pulled a 435/205 out of my old plow truck and was trying to decide its future...

ya i have a 435 in my bronco 2, with a 351w bored .3 a cam and edelbrock intake n carb...it sounds pretty good and runs nice...the only thing i dont like is the lack of traction...it has 35 boggers and it just wants to spin...
