Thought I'd get a second opinion on a tranny question. If I take a 300 inline 6 and bell housing out of a truck with a 435 tranny, can I replace it with a 360 and belhousing that is also bolted to a 435? The only difference is that the 300 is in a 150 4x4 and the 360 is out of a 250 4x2. I have always thought that the 435 had the same bolt pattern on the tranny to bell housing because I remember using the bell housing from my 360 to mate it to the 435 because the 435 originally was bolted to another motor with a different bell housing to motor bolt pattern.
