anybody else having problem with pop ups when you are trying to view a thread, having problems with this since early last week, every time i go into a thread my pop up blocker comes on and a blank page shows on my screen,verry anoying!!

 

Become and FTE supporter and the popups disappear....or so I'm told.

 

Had this happen last night. Very annoying and took a long time to load the page.

 

1) Mozilla Firefox
2) Ad Block plus (or some name like that) pop up blocker

ZERO pop ups.

 

Be sure to clear your cach and delete the cookies.

There are Alot of ads and pop ups on this site, but...it's free, unless you're a supporter and the info is the best. I just accept that for a site that's as good as this they have to advertise to support it.

 

Are these anything like the ones that happened twice in the last month or so? I haven't had a problem this time.

 

after almost a month of agony not being able to properly look at posts i have fixed my problem, downloaded google chrome and my pop ups are gone, so if your having problems try it!

 

The only time I ever get a pop up is if there is a word highlighted like "truck" and you run your mouse over it then a GM add will appear until you move the mouse off it.

 

I'm not actually a supporter , but I've never had any issues with pop ups or slow loads on the page.

maybe it's a good idea to keep an eye out for what you're browsing and what you open.
