Thanks, i also take it where they dont go....the jeep got stuck in the first mudhole and didnt attempt the second

Just a minor update...finally got around to polishing my headlights. I used the 3M kit from Canadian tire...it was on sale..lol

The 3M kit is nice. Used it many times myself with success. Remember to hit those lens with a wax or sealer so they take less time to haze this go-round.

BTW, that sure is one nice work bench you have bolted conveniently to the front end

Not sure what comes in that polishing kit but depending on how bad the lenses are, use 1500-2000 grit wet sandpaper on them then use the polishing pad. Makes a world of difference.

Looks like the newer kits are even coming with tape...something my kits didnt have but blue painters tape is all that is needed:
3M Lens Renewal Kit, headlights polish, plastic headlight polish, polish plastic lens, plasic polish scratch remover

It's a great three stage kit. Dry & wet sand...and a polish.

Dubbs how is the ram assist I'm thinking of getting one for my EX as she don't like turning sitting still. Also does the pump replace the factory pump thanks. Great thread.

I love it...it may be my favorite mod.


The new pump looks exactly like the old pump, so it bolts up in the factory position...you just need a power steering pulley puller
