JT250, thanks for the reply. I will have some time tonight after work and before it gets dark so I will unplug it and see how she dose in the morning tomorrow. Do you take the wires back to where they mount similar when you remove the AIH or just wrap the plug and tie it up somewhere?
By having the EBPV disconnected will this negatively effect the engine to warm up for the 3-5 minutes? I know the EBPV is there to help with warm up (may tack longer) but I am more concerned with any mechanical negative effects on the motor?

Driving it is the best way to warm it up. The only time my truck idles is if I'm scraping snow off of it.
But to answer your question, no a short idle time like that won't have any real effect. Consider that for the first 2 minutes your truck is idling (depending on temps), the EBPV isn't even engaged. High idle and the EBPV do not engage until the glow plugs shut off.
Well I disconnected the EPBV wire from the lower pedestal after work. I then took the truck out later and it was like driver a different vehicle. The truck has way better throttle response. However after I turned the motor off for about an hour and then came back out to start it and drive the truck back home the SES light came on? I have had the AIH delete done as well but this is now the fist time the SES light has come on sence owning the truck?
No dont know why you got the light. I didnt get it and the EBPV shouldnt cause that. I have the AIH and the EBPV and dont get the light. Has it gone off now that you shut the truck off and restarted?
No the light was still on this morning. The truck seem a little louder from one of the injectors but it was could out so I will have to see how it sounds at full warm up. I have some running around to do later today so will see how things do warm. But I did not think the SES light would come on with these disconnected?
Could it be the EBP sensor? I have not checked the tube or the sensor sense I bought the truck these are on my list of things to do?
It is probably just a coink i dink that it came on when you disconnected it. It could be one of many things. The only way to know is to get someone to check it for you. The truck will be louder when cold though. You will probably notice it more now that it is not restricted by the EBPV.
Well I have been thinking about getting a Scangauage. I will probably unplug the battery and then plug the EBPV in and see if the SES goes out and if it will come back; an easily free check for the moment.
