09 tailgate

Just bought a 09 tailgate white with the step for my 2000 for $125 not even a scratch or dirt on it just wounding what bracket I needed to buy and where's the best place to do so thanks

You need to go down to the police station and check your self in how did you manage that?

just left side hinge
right side stays in place
The new hinge has a spring inside to assist the lowering of tailgate

A buddy of mine just bought his 09 and he plows with it well he started salting to so he took it off and I was joking and said "ill give you 100 bucks for your tailgate " he sad 125 and it's your with no questions I handed him the money and headed home. What is the bracket I need is it going to be a stealership thing or...

Great find dude!!
Left side hinge part #4L3Z-83430B39-AA. Ford calls it a roller for some reason. The spring is actually inside the tailgate, not the hinge. Its called lift assist.

Ill have to paint it but the truck will be going to the paint Booth so it all works out.

Has anyone painted there truck like a sunburnt orange. I think I'm going to do that with the bottom body line including the wheel well trim rino lined. Any Thoughts
