Is the "tow truck" for a super duty a flat bed truck? Is that correct? I thought I had read that unless the drive shaft is disconnected a super duty needs to be transported on a flat bed. Not sure if this is misinformation so asking now
Not sure Walt, but it seems that most wreckers anymore are rollbacks, The only hook trucks I see around where i live are repo trucks.
I always inist on a flatbed when I call.
I'm trying not to make a habit of it...

You can use a tow truck for our trucks you just have to make sure it is not in four wheel drive and then pickup the rear wheels and tow it pulling it backwards. You can tow it all day long like that with no issues.
Edit: For the duallys you would need to pull the drive shaft and lift the front or use a rollback as you cant grab the back real easy with the dual wheels.
