Oh yeah, I get 10% off a Napa Auto Parts. I probably blow $500/yr there fixing all my vehicles so there's $50 towards the yearly membership right there.
I just looked it up, it excludes spark plugs? .....I wont have to worry about that.
I'm also eligable for a 10% monthly discount on my Sprint cell phone....thats $84 a year right there...Sweet!

I might be joining AAA. Having a friend at work hook me up with his AAA towing service to get my truck home last nite, paid dearly for the tow but was happy enough just to have contact with a towing company fast. I'm gonna do more researching on the plans they have so I don't get stuck with a huge towing bill the next time...

I'm pretty sure April and I are going with AAA.I've looked at other plans(GoodSam,Coachnet),and I think AAA is by far the best plan.

Jeez Mike, what happened to the truck? Keep us in the dark why don't ya.
Oops, never mind I see it now. I've missed it all day!!!
Sorry I'm a little late to the party. I've been with Coachnet for 2 yrs now. They've been awesome! When I breakdown I've always ask for 2 trucks, one for the truck and one for the trailer. they never question it at all. And they will tow me anywhere. When I broke down in Nevada last fall they wanted to tow me to Ceder City Utah cause that was the closed Medium Duty Ford Shop! I had them tow me to a local shop and fixed it myself.
The problem with AAA is they might send out something not big enough to tow watcha got. Had a friend with AAA, had a flat on his Class A motorcoach. AAA sent out some kid in a Pinto with a bottle jack and a star wrench! needless to say he's change providers since then. I'm a firm believer in some kind of roadside help.!
goodness knows I've used my share
I've had and used AAA for many years (currently AAA Premium RV...). Yes, they rely on 'providers' who are often overstated and underpaid - but they were there every time I needed them. My insurance has roadside assistance too, including RV (same ins. co). I've also had Good Sam on/off over the years. (Good Sam will bring your junk and YOU home, no mileage limits - but lacks some of the other benefits of AAA).
Gonna look at Barney's recommendation though!! Thanks!

Here you go, change out that 24.5 while I take a nap!!!
I just checked out the AAA website and it says it will tow TRAVEL TRAILERS.... but not utility or animal trailers. So baiscally I would be hosed if i need a tow when I am pulling the horse trailer or the flatbed with hay on it.
"Non travel trailers such as utility, animal, watercraft,
motorcycle, lawn equipment, ATV, and automobile trailers
are not covered."
This is what I found on AAA website: Motor homes, cab-over campers, tent trailers, recreational trailers and trailers transporting a boat, jet ski(s) or snowmobile(s) are eligible for ERS, including towing up to $200 provided that they can be serviced safely and legally with the equipment available.
I can see them not towing horse trailer if it is loaded for obvious reasons.
