Taken from the AAA site under FAQ's Coverage for RV's trailers and more.
Q: What types of trailers are covered?
Only non-commercial, personal use trailers: boat, horse, utility, ATV, motorcycle, personal watercraft and snowmobile trailers.
Trailers must be for personal use only and licensed and registered. All loads on trailers must be properly secured. Debris on trailers should be covered. Trailer coverage is provided as an emergency road service.; we are not a towing service (i.e. we will not drag a trailer out of someone's backyard with dry-rotted tires).
Q: Are there any exclusions for trailer coverage?
Cannot exceed trailer load maximum weight recommended by manufacturer. No livestock (animals must be unloaded prior to service technician arrival). No tractor trailers. No trailers used for commercial purposes. If service is unavailable (due to size, weather, location, etc.) the Member has the option to seeks their own service and submit receipts for reimbursement consideration
I didn't read all the posts, so I apologize if this has already been stated. Read the AAA info carefully. I read mine and the towing does NOT cover duelly's. I am getting ready to switch to Good Sam Club Roadside Assistance. Almost the same price as AAA but covers EVERYTHING. All your cars, trucks (no matter what kind) and trailer. They will even send 2 tow trucks if needed to tow your trailer to the closest RV park while your truck is being repaired. If anyone has this and it's not good please let me know. My AAA renews in June.
Except Duel Wheel vehicles. I need to go home and dig out my policy, but tat is really my only reason for looking at changing. I actually read my AAA policy once. I could be wrong though. I also am not a premier member. Maybe that's the difference. I will have to look.

I joined yesterday, so I haven't got all of my paperwork yet.
But I didn't see anything online that said we duallys are excluded...I'll be sure to look into it though. My boss has had the premier RV and had both of his duallys towed with no problems, I also used his AAA to tow mine a few months back with no problems.
Please let us know if thats the case.

I was just looking at the AAA website and it shows that unloaded dual wheeled pickups are covered even for basic members. Maybe they changed it since you took out the policy.
Well I guess the proof is in the picture!! LOL MAybe if I step up to a "Premier" membership it includes dually's. I could swear mine said they were excluded thoough. Now I REALLY have to look for it. Thanks Franko!!!
I found out recently that the towing included in my insurance policy was only to the nearest "authorized repair facility" that was open and was available to perform the repairs. If the repairs were not performed at the facility selected, I would be charged for the tow fee. The nearest "authorized repair facility" was a gas station in Mullan Idaho (my Subaru overheated on Lookout Pass, early on a Saturday morn. and what qualified them as authorized was they stated in the phone listing they worked on Subarus and other imports) and they guaranteed the car would be ready in 2 weeks. My point is...read the fine print! This tow service would certainly have gotten my car and I off the road...for two weeks...100 mi. from home! I asked what the tow cost would be if i declined service at the gas station...$480.00 for a 6 mi tow. The tow truck had to come from the city I lived in (did i mention it was 100 mi. away?) so there was round trip mileage fees...to the city i lived in... Sorry, 2 months later and I'm still a bit irritated! I, too, am looking for some sort of road side assistance now!
i heard that a lot of insurance companies report rsa claims to CLUE, and can cause your premium to go up. you know they look for any reason...
Comi bas***** Never heard of that but it wouldn't suprise me empiretc. I guess if you had a RSA thru your auto insurance they would foot the bill for the tow and and then possibly leave you open to a rate increase. Not sure if theirs any truth to this, just thinking out of the box.
To Add to the dual wheeled vehicles (I used to work for a sub contractor of AAA) you obviously already know that they will tow it...but if you have a flat on your duallys they are only allowed to change the outter dual and not the inner.
Pretty much what everyone else is saying. Check to make sure your covered with your most common endeavors. I have been a AAA member since 1989 and have never once had an issue with the service. I did like the gold membership better when it was unlimited towing but I didnt think that would last forever.
AAA has towed my CC dually flatbed a couple of times. I learned the first time to TELL THEM not to send an F350 rollback - that my truck weighs almost 10k lbs...
