If he's burning coolant isn't that most likely the egr cooler/oil cooler. If so that has nothing to do with the programmer. Haveing a P1000 only means the obd system hasn't finished tests since it was cleared. He could have easily had autozone clear the codes for him and be questioned about a programer. Biggest giveaway is a egt probe hole in the exhasut manifold with a bolt in it lol. Or they left the probe in and taped the probe cord to somthing with no guage to read it. There are more ways to determine if the truck has had a chip.
