hi sry back... I have read all the post and so far ... with out being there.... If you swear u do not feel it in the steering wheel.... it totally sounds like a suspension issue of some sort.. from bent axle to , bent drive shaft etc .. when did you noticed this shaking, and what did you do to the truck prior to the shaking, did u go off roading , or jump it or hit anything etc ...
let me know... also what have you done to inspect this you self ...

i bought the truck haha. thats what i did before i noticed it.
i only took it to 60 when i test drove it. on the way home noticed the vibration. lesson learned. well i would of bought it still who am i kidding.
i dont think the previous owner was much of a desert running rally racer so dont think it was jumpped or ran through anything it couldnt handle.
and ive checked everything under the truck for looseness and tightned what needed tightend.
its in my seat not the wheel. its a slow bucking at 35-40. so up an down like aan out of shape tire. then 70 is just a mess. but goes away after 75 and happens around 73

Same problem, kinda. Except mine just jeeps getting worse after around 75ish. And I had my driveshaft and all u joints i'n it checked. I'v never jumped it or anything serious just loads of mud. I've buried it to where mud was a little over the axles and I had a full night of drunken fun trying to get it out. But I let a couple of dodges pull me out though. I didn't stress the driveshaft too much because I know there was no use i'n trying.

cheapteen- I think you have a wheel issue, see if you can find a buddy with an old ford or chevy or dodge swap the wheels onto yours and go for a ride see if it still has the issue

I had been trying to figure out the same problem on my truck for a couple of years and finally got the problem solved. Replaced my tie rods and found that the inner/center link was bad. There was no play when checking the wheel so I did not think it was the tie rods. I have replaced almost everything else so I was running out of options. Truck drives like new after the alignment was done for the new tie rods.

well is sounds like a suspension issue on both parts,,, but Tires and rims are the back bone of any car and if you do not have the right tires and rims ... or even if all 4 tires are new and you have a heavy spot in the tire,,, that could also be the issue...

I think.... if i was you guy... unfortunately its nothing that can be pin pointed.. unless its taking to a mechanic to run some test.. I would take it in.
no sence in replaceing every part will it stop shaking,,, sry mate but i am out of ideas.
