E4OD HELP

ive done searching for a while on here and havent found anything that has answered my question. i have 91 f250 4x4 E4OD and everything was working great until the next day i drove it. il start going and it will rev til 2000 rpm and then catch second gear hard. all the other gears will shift fine and overdrive will go in but wont drop alot of rpm like normal. then on the way down into first gear it will shift very hard. it also makes alot of clunking sounds. so if any one knows anything or has any ideas that would be great. thanks.

Sounds like you need a fluid and filter change....Or possibly a torque converter...
