There, argument over, easily proven.
Technically that's incorrect. A4WD engages the front drive system not 4x4, the rear is already engaged.

To the OP:

The value of pre 1999 Eddie Bauer Expeditions and Navigators ranges from $5,999 down to around $3,999 CASH price in the Greater Kansas City area, including all of Kansas, Missouri, and portions of Iowa and Nebraska. Presuming they look good and at delivery all functions work. Also presuming they are the 4x4 Eddie Bauer model or a really tricked-out XLT model. More and more are selling with high 200,000 to low 300,000 miles.

For 1999 and year 2000 4x4 EB models you can add a grand or two dependent upon the vehicle.

Rough examples of any of the above years top out at around $3,200 - $3,999.

Hope this helps.

$5,999 not $6K, and $3,999 not $4K? One can always spot a car salesman.

Nope! Retired, and on Social Security. Was a General Contractor and I also owned and ran a medium size tow company. Both in California. Farm boy at heart, I am now living the good life in NW Missouri.

Seriously? THAT is that stance you would take?

When the front is engaged, does that not make it 4x4, where it was previously rear drive? So a4wd engages the 4wd, because without the front drive it is rear drive.

Technically incorrect my heinie.

Its more of a traction control than even being a 4x4 when in A4wd mode. As I said before, your spinning rear tire activates the front axle to help keep your vehicle going. So technically its not a 4x4 in this mode. Of coure you will continue to argue which I enjoy much of your humor.

Seems as every one has their own understanding of said subject.

I have question what does the word "drive" mean?

There you go with the semantics again. My remark was meant to be satire, something which you should've been able to see if you didn't wind yourself up so tight. Maybe it's time to clean the sand out of your vagina, it seems to be overly irritating you.

It's clean, we have been home from vacation for a week now (could have picked some sand up on the beach) and she always takes good care of the bird.

What is great though is that Hodges thinks he is right again

Well, you are getting closer genuis boy...The computer uses the same kind of monitoring technology as traction control....then it enages the 4wd to control it. MAN YOU ARE DENSE.

How is it NOT in 4x4 mode if all four wheels are being powered.

You continue to ignore facts, it is so obvious that even alloro is poking fun at you. He normally reserves that for me exclusively, as you can see above.
