06 Door Locks

I have a 06 F-250 SC Lariat, that I bought last year. On the drivers door it appears some fine individual has mistaken my truck for his own and tried to get into the door with a screwdriver in the key hole and accidentally (I'm sure) messed up the keyhole so that my key no longer works. I have a key fob and key pad on the door, so locking it is not a problem. The problem I have notice is that my truck doesn't have a keyhole on the passenger door. Now like I said I bought the truck last year and I've never noticed this before. My question is; did it come from the factor this way or did the PO possibly have put a door handle on the passenger door without a lock? I know I can pull the door panel off and check this out myself but I'm lazy LOL.
Thanks
Clint

Thats how most cars and trucks are coming these days. Must cost more to plug the hole since the trucks keep getting more expensive
