need some door handle help.

hi guys,

05 f-350 here. this model comes with the keyhole on the passenger side door. someone popped the lock off on that side. annoying. anyway, i was thinking of installing jimmi jammers on both sides, but i was thinking of upgrading the passenger side front door handle to the 07 style which did not have a keyhole.

any suggestions? also, is there a specific part number for that door handle piece? i was thinking i'd have to approach a ford dealer cos i'm a king ranch and i'd like to have the color-specific piece.

thanks in advance.

Isn't it paint to match?

I have black door handles and was thinking of ordering white and didn't see a painted option, just paint to match.

Painted handles have a different texture versus the standard black plastic.

i was thinking of replacing my current door handle with the 2007 style with no lock cylinder, cos my door handle got broken into tonight, and they cracked the plastic. since i was thinking of buying jimmi jammers, i noticed that the 2007 model didnt have a keyhole on the passenger side front door. i just need the part number for the 2007 model door handle for the passenger side front door. the whole piece preferably. thanks.

Dom,
My 06 came without a key on the passenger side. So I would think you can find a 05 KR
with out a passenger side one. I think the no key was an option that you could order
in the spec sheet.

I really hate the @@##$$$! that think that is the right way to get into a truck.
If you want in mine to steal some thing just ask me and I let you have a lead key.

Thanks Sean. Another idea I just had is to order the whole door handle for the rear, and just replace with the front one. Of cos, I'll have to get the matching color with my vin.

I believe for the 06 n 07, they made the passenger side front door without the keyhole.

All I know is I only have one door with a key. The hard part about that is someone tried
to pop it and it would not work with a key. I replaced the lock and problem fixed.
I took the key out of the tail gate for now and put the bad cylinder in the gate.

Sneaky
