No mater where I go someone seems to want to break into my truck. I'm sure I'm not the only one here with this problem.
The first time someone stuck a screw drive in the key hole and broke it off and opened the door they were successful. After the first time I glued the keyhole back into the door so that it wouldn't look so bad. I took out the bar that connect the key to the actual lock. I did this on both sides. They haven't gotten in since, but they break the locks out of the door every time I put them back. I just hope my battery doesn't die.
Any way what I'm asking is can get a stronger lock or put the same handles that are on the back doors on the front? could I just cut a hole for the # pad on the drivers side.
Glass breaks real easy, hammer or spring loaded center punch will do. Put an alarm on and if you live where it gets cold (I'm in Minnesota -20 happens) most remote starts have an alarm built in and you WILL love getting into a warm truck.
