6gals = 24 quarts.. Well at least 19 quarts for the trans/converter/lines/cooler, 3 for the transfer case, then 2 quarts for spare. I'd rather just round up and have extra. Plus most stores should carry cases of 12 quarts.

what did you get for a converter?
since you going to be in there.did you consider upgrading to the high volume pump and viton pump seal?

as you can see the instructions are great for the shift kit.but has a really poor quality pic for check ball locations.
that will help if you lose your way.
i wish i had set the spring and filter on there for a complete pic.that was kinda dumb of me.but as you can see,the pic in the instructions show them ok.so between the two,you'll be good.

Not sure what trans you have but a c6 holds 26.75 pints. That is about 13.4 quarts. The t-case hold about 3.25 quarts (6.5 pints). That comes up to just over 4 gallons. And a couple quarts at most for the cooler. Most places sell oil and transfluid by the gallon and at todays prices it gets costly lol.

Trans is from a '97 stroke and was rebuilt by Ford. So the pump/seal should be the updated ones.
