It only hit 104 here today and everyone was talking about how it didn't seem as hot. I can't imagine what Friday will feel like if it only hits 95.

Well,, hope the weather channel is right!! ya never get used to this extreme heat,, just endure it anyway you can. only 95 will be welcomed surely. I dont see how they can predict 4-5 days out though. just in time for a 3-day holiday week-end too. heehaw!!

I can tell you I do when we travel far enough south to get them, and it's around 80 here today!

I personally did a lot better than most folk up here, most areas are flooded and powerless!

Yall, it's still hotter than ten kinds of you know what here in North Texas. I'm trying to get myself mentally prepared for Labor Day weekend when my Uncle Roy has about a dozen or more dove hunters over. It always sounds like WW3 in the pasture about a mile and a half to the South of my house. I'm ready for Fall, no I'll go out on a limb here. I'm ready for Winter.

That's my favorite breakfast too. I like to mix my eggs and grits together and chop my bacon in pieces. Mix it all together with lots of pepper and a little salt. Man that's good eaten. In fact that just might be my dinner now that I'm thinking about it.

3 eggs over easy, bacon, biscuits and gravy for this guy. I do grits here and there, but not too often. I think I might have to have that for dinner also on my way home from work at midnight tonight!!

I'll take three scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, toast or biscuts with grape, strawberry, or peach jelly, and either coffee or sweet tea to drink. That's when i don't have to work, if i have to work its grab a Dr. Pepper out of the fridge and hit the road about 15 till 6. Thats 6 A.M. gentlemen.
