We had one 2 weeks ago in Cedar Park, just outside of austin, no power 4 hours !!

Well got the '01 Chevy p/u had wheels rotated todat, packed and ready to fill er up with petrol,,,heading north easterly in 1/2 hr for the hHoosier state(Indiana). gettin the hell outta Dodge fer a spell. hope its a tad cooler up there. be goin I30 to L.Rock then catch I40 all way to Nashville, Music City, then N. via I65 to Indy. take care of the fort while Im gone. dem Indians are on da war path agin,, they outta fire-water(hard liquor). later fellow Ford drivers,,,see ya

Looks like we have a chance of much needed rain in the Austin area on Saturday. Only bad thing is that's when I'm moving to a new place. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess lol. At least we will get a break in the heat lol.

Well, we DID get a few big old fat rain drops.... and by a few I mean six.

Better than nothing....

Yep it started to rain yesterday, but I got the same as you Tim. There was like 6-8 drops then nothing. It might have been 10 drops, but I lost count when I got excited about the rain. Then it just stopped!
