I heard that! And I'll have you know that I have not lost my mind.... It's here some place. I know it's not under the sofa, out in the truck, or up in the attic..... But it is here someplace!!!

Good grief! I hope it's not obvious that I'm on a one way trip to the giggling academy. Atleast I have lots of good company along the way.

Just wondering if the friend was far enough away to be safe. I've been scared to death of fires for the last couple of months. The grass all died and I had to start feeding hay in July instead of cutting it. It's as bad out here as I've ever seen it. It's also as bad out here as my 87 year old neighbor has ever seen it.

So far we've had more luck than Woody, but I can only imagine.

Hey guys, thanks for the concerns. Found out from a neighbor who got past the barricades, that my house didn't make it. Still waiting to find out if our other house down the street is okay. The outlook doesn't look good for it because there isn't enough manpower to keep up with the size of that fire. Only good news I got was that my goat and porsche were still untouched at that time. Going to try and get in today to asses the damage. besides the house I'm sure my trucks suffered the same fate as my house. Be safe everyone. Fires are popping up everywhere and I suggest you all look around your own homes and think what you would do/take if one came your way.

Man, sorry to hear that Woody. Like I said if there's anything I can do to help out let me know. The wife and I will take a trip down there to help with clean up or whatever you need.

Woody, I'm sorry to hear this. Damn weather is just crazy this year, too much rain in some place, none in others. I'm glad to hear that your family is safe, though.
