I had a great day yesterday. I got to go on a tour of Ft. Hood and see their combat simulators. I got to do a combat simulation in the mock Humvee with a 50 cal mounted on a turret. I got to shoot at the "bad guys" with the 50 cal. The "bad guys" were easy to spot because they all were dressed like Arabs and they all drove white Toyota pick-up trucks that explode when you hit them with a few rounds.
Then I got to play gunner in a tank simulator. Not as much fun, but still really cool. Lastly, I got to shoot on the rifle range simulator. That was really fun to.
All in all, it was really cool. Where was all this cool stuff when I was in the service????
I had a girl tell me I was too serious several decades ago (while I was attending Sul Ross State U.), I hope I haven't blown this bs thread out of the water.
