There is no possible way for me to come out ahead on my F150. Too much money in the engine build, suspension, driveline, etc. Got a new truck though if I ever get it running. Lol
Morning everyone. Sounds like everyone is working on their toys this weekend. Is in it great when you finally have time to do that?! I could make a full time job out of just working on mine. When I daydream about winning the lotto I think more about my ultimate garage than anything else. Lifts, paint booth and every tool imaginable.
Good Morning TX, hope everyone's weekend is faring well.
I already have rebuilt the engine on mine, along with replacing the steering and related components. Went to drive it during the first big snow storm and the transfer case went out. I got pissed and went and traded my '04 GTO in on my '07 F150, lol.
Ahhhhh, I spent wayyyy too much money this weekend, but aside from that, all was well. Spent 6 hours this morning before work gathering up parts since I had to mess up those stupid bearings. Machine shop, parts store, home, back to parts store, bank, Tractor Supply, another parts store, Harbor Freight, Sears, and back home. By then I had to go to work. LOL
What I hate is having to go to the Ford dealler 2-3 days in a row, because I forgot to get something the last time. It's seems like everytime I go in there, to get something for the truck, I end up back in there at least 2 more times for the same project. I always feel like a dumb a$$. Because I know the guy behind the counter is thinking "weren't you just here yesterday, and the day before?".
