WASTE GATE ?

OK guys I think I read sometime where some of you have either shortened or lenghthened the rod to help the performance seems like may be it gave a little more boost if I remember right I am getting ready to do WW mod and thought I would check into it also Any advice?? thanks

When its cold out like it is now it almost feels like I have a dead spot in my throttle also you get the whooshing sound and then it will take off all at once.

If you're pulling the turbo to put in the WW, now is the time to tighten up the rod. I ran mine with the line pulled & plugged after putting on the WW -- no surge issues.

I wasnt planning on pulling it I know I should but seems quicker leaving it on

You certainly don't have to, but it would be easier in the long run for the wheel swap & rod adjustment...

Adjust your rod....
Clean all the threads on the rod and the rod end. Run it all the way down, short as possible. Do this with the actuator removed.
Disconnect line and plug it.

That is called the EPBV...... Do a search and you'll find out all you need to know about it...
