The code it showed was a a ICP code so after research on here and numerous mechaincs I changed the ICP sensor and the cam sensor and it still will not crank and run it turns over great it is almost like it is not getting fuel but there is fuel in the bowl. The pump seems to be working. I am about to pull the trigger and take to the dealer but before I do I would like to here your thoughts on the problem. Thanks
So...it turns over but won't actually start..was it driving fine and then wouldn't restart after sitting, or did it suddenly quit? What's the story behind the no start?
Did you go through the starting system checklist...batteries, GPR, glow plugs, cables?
lost power in acceleration on the drive way and died it crank back and ran about 45 seconds and died. Yes new batts and alternator less than 2 weeks old it has plenty of juice and the plugs and injectors are less than a year old. I thought for a sec how it might be the fuel pump but it seems to be pumping fuel in the bowl just as it always hasI know it need like 60lbs of pressure to from the pump to the bowl.
