Hello I have a o3 x w/6.0 4x4 How do you adjust the auto headlights to turn off sooner after shutting down the vehicle, I have nothing on my rearview mirror and just have a dash dimmer on the switch

Look in the owners manual, I'm pretty sure that I have seen a method in there about how to adjust the time.

I didn't get an owners manual with mine, and I would like to make mine stay on longer. Anyone know the method or could help me out?
Sorry to Hi-Jack, but if I get my answer, it might help OP get theirs.

Should have just pasted this in here:

Autolamp control (if equipped)
The autolamp system provides light
sensitive automatic on-off control of
the exterior lights normally
controlled by the headlamp control.
The autolamp system also keeps the
lights on for approximately 20
seconds after the ignition switch is
turned to OFF.
To change the delay time of the autolamp feature, do the following:
1. Start with the ignition in OFF and the autolamps selected.
2. Deselect the autolamps.
3. Put the ignition in RUN.
4. Put the ignition in OFF.
5. Select the autolamps. Steps 2 through 5 must be performed within a
10 second period. At this point, the headlamps and parking lamps will
turn on.
6. Deselect the autolamps after the desired autolamp delay time
(maximum of 3 minutes). At this point, the headlamps and parking
lamps will turn off.

RACERX7775,
It will require the sensor to be installed and the switch. I'm sure there is a relay in there too.

TYZ, i kinda knew that. I was wondering if the system could be added by. Or if it can just be plugged in to the harness somewhere. Thanks anyway though.
