Auto headlight problem...

'07 250 PSD Lariat with auto headlights. Everything comes on EXCEPT the headlights when in the auto headlight position. I've checked all fuses, even swapped out relays with another truck from our fleet, and nothing seems to work. The auto switch seems to be working fine. The headlights work fine when switched manually to on. Anybody have any suggestions?????

It's an 07' so unless you drive a ton of miles, it's time to take it to the dealer. That's why they make warrenty's

Thanks guys, I was hopin' for a simple DIY fix. Nothin' I hate more than a day spent without my work truck.

is it in drive? They may not turn on until you put it in drive.

It’s likely the headlight relay internal to the VSM, nothing you’re going to want any part of.

Screwy nailed it. After 3 hours waiting at the dealer today, I was told it was a problem in the VSM. Part will have to be ordered, meaning another day wasted. Thanks again guys.
