Ford Lockpicks is coming out with a mod, that will allow those of us with factory NAV, jukebox and existing camera, to add a second camera input (Travel trailer, fifth wheel, etc.). We will be able to switch between the two cameras, in forward or reverse. NICE. This mod will be available with in the next two weeks.

FYI
I thought it was out already! It is on my X-mas list! What I really like is that it will allow more functions to be available while moving. I understood Ford's logic to restrict it (liability concerns) but all of the handheld units allow you to agree to the liability risk. And it made no sense since the panel mounted unit can easily be worked from the passenger seat.
When you guys get around to installing it, would you posted some pictures, videos and/or hints to help with the installation? Looks like you need to pull apart the dash to get to the back of the nav unit. Never had much luck tearing stuff like this apart and putting them back together!
It is out already. I have it sitting in the box in my garage waiting for my 2011 to show up (which i ordered 12+ weeks ago).
Refer to email I recieved from Ford Lockpicks on 11-29-10..............

Thanks so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, because your vehicle already has a camera installed in the vehicle, the Sync LockPick would not be able to add a second camera. We very well be releasing a product that meets your needs and would recommend checking back with us within the next couple of weeks. Thanks and have a nice day!
Oh, thats right. The version I have will only work if you dont have the factory camera. If you dont have the factory backup camera on your nav, it will allow you to add up to two aftermarket camera. Sorry for the confusion.
And, I'm confused. The Lockpick package appears to allow two cameras to be used, but the instructions seem to contradict, what am I missing?
The Lockpick can also control a second camera if desired. This can be used for a front camera or even an interior “baby” cam directed at the rear seats. Answer YES or NO to add second camera functions and move on to the next screen. If your vehicle already has a factory rear camera, this option will not appear.
You can only use 2 cameras if you don't already have the factory back up cam.
If you have the factory backup cam, you can't currently add one of their aftermarket cameras. The way I'm reading it, is that they're going to provide an update that will allow you to run an additional camera to the factory option.

Yep. The lockpick will allow you to add an additional camera even if you have a factory camera. The updated version is out. I'll be installing mine this weekend. Just searching the net to find out how the dash comes apart.

I thought I saw a video on their website for the Ford. I will check again.
