And I have read that my truck should tow it without any compliments, even doesnt feel that is back of the truck. IDK.
The problem with lost of power I have mentioned in several posts, is that at some high altitude (began at aprox. 6000 ft), seem not to have power and the turbo doesnt want to spool even at WOT and the EGTs easly went to 1200+ degrees. That was the reason I changed the MAP sensor and installed the IC.
BTW when I changed the MAP, it has hand written: ground out +4 so maybe it was failing and the PO didnt change it .

Why did you ask?
Jose i have the same problem crossing the mountian range on the way from school to home. i go from about 150ft at home to 5100 in the mountians and the truck needs a lot more rpms to get the same results. Think of it like this, your truck needs air to breathe just like we do and the higher u go the thinner the air gets and less oxygen there is and the harder your engine has to work. Your engine struggles to get the levels of oxygen it needs and loses a lot of power, i experience the same thing. even though i have been told our trucks should be able to adjust for the level and denisty of air. Didnt know if you knew that just thought i'd throw my .02 in their.

Thank you for your comment, and agree with you, and also I have read that our trucks SHOULD be able to ajust by themselves.
Well I did a recent trip and with the new MAP and the IC, the truck get a very good performance, without the lose of power in the mountains and the EGTs less than 1200* and the turbo spool normally. So for sure my MAP wasnt working well, and with my mods the truck needs the IC.
BTW one boot blown out, but I think that the clamp was a little loose, because when I thightened it, no more problems.
