Well work is slow but got some more cleaning done today.. Hopefully spring comes soon and I can start painting.
Does anyone see an issue w/ the front placement of the jackstands?? I am wondering if that crossbeam is strong enough to support the weight of the truck
Andrew I was looking at those pics of the front axle and suspension...I'm curious if I was to convert my 2wd to 4wd if it would all mount up...just thinking aloud. things that make you go hhhhmmmmm....Sorry for hijak.

andrew id say out those stands under where the crash bar mounts to the truck they should be a little more sturdy there
Bottom Charger (Primary)
Compression side: 80mm
Exhaust side : 96mm w/ a 1.32 A/R exhaust housing
This charger will go back to ED and get a tighter housing to increase drive pressure and an ETT (billet) wheel on the intake side to lower compressor load..
I friend of mine has been dying to do this build. He is a total Cummins freek but loves the looks of the fords and the roomy cabs. He was planning on picking up a good condition 05 to 07 with a blown 6.0 (unfortunately there are plenty of them out there) and swap a 12 valve Cummins in it with a manual tranny. How cool would that be?

Here is a pic of his truck:
Check out compD there is alot of great info there and psn. The swaps are becoming very common with the 6.0 issues but finding a blown truck is harder than you would think.
If your bud needs a 12v shoot me a pm. There is a wealth of them in my area for $1200-$1500.
Hopefully going to see some 60 degree weather this weekend so I am hoping to get a ton of painting on my frame done.
I'm in Arizona and I haven't seen 60 degree weather since November. We've had a damn cold winter. So, you can tell your friends that someone in AZ is jealous of your warm weather. :P
I think he has a 12 valve engine already as well as a 6 speed manual. I'll for sure be sending him this thread.
Great thread, go Cummins! With or without the Dodge truck is fine by me. I have nothing against the Dodge truck itself, I guess I am a Dodge purist at heart. Doh! Should have realized that 2 years ago.
