My dad bought a 1986 F-250 4x4 white with maroon interior 351. Brand new in 85. I loved it and always wanted it. The motor blew up at 30k and ford wouldnt warranty it. But he pulled it in the shop and yanked the motor out. Threw a 425hp 351 back in what a truck.Then it rotted out and he bought a 1997 F-350 Single cab psd brand new in 1996. White maroon interior. always thought id end up with it. He sold it right before i got my license, to buy a 2002 F-450 in 2001. He sold the 97 to our banker who still owns the truck. Ive always asked him to sell it to me and he never would. He loved the truck. Until 5 months ago after i spent hugee money on my 1997. He finally was willing to sell the 1997 to me. I past becuase its just a bit to rusty for me. But to this day i still want a 1997 Single cab 350 white with maroon interior.
