ceramic clutch?

i was talking to a guy last night about manual transmissions and he happened to mention that tow-trucks he has seen have had ceramic clutches. has anyone ever heard about these before? let me know...

ceramic clutch?

Heavy duty trucks usually use a multi-disc or a ceramic clutch system for grip. I do know that some are available for light trucks as well.
