dads psd has 5 or 6 iirc, it rides nice actually. ive got fatter springs, a little less though and it ran fine with the 35's, the 37's was a little rougher, the 42's rougher and the 46's. well, you can guess that lol. but the sidewalls got more and more plys the larger the tire. these 46's are like 12 ply, G rated
lol hell she rides real nice with about 3500 pounds of concrete in the bed. beleave it or not it still rides better than my old chevy 1 ton. And thanks for the pics guys ill see what i can find, or make.
well the swap is more or less done, got it aligned today and she's reeal nice clark. just gotta get a track bar and steering stabalizer and itll be officially done.
Did you have to adjust your driveshaft in the end? Which did you use, the 250's or the 350's with the double cardan?
I've got my 60 on the shop floor now just ordered all the new bits except U-Joints, there's different sizes specified at the T-Case side for each though. An article I read said he had to shorten his. I can't tell yet as I haven't pulled the axle from my 250...

i re-used the original driveshaft that was in my 250. it had the same size u joint as the 60 so i didnt have th change anything. i was suprised, everything pretty much droped right in and bolted up. how often dose that happen? you will have to add a little lift in the front to clear the pig on the 60.
yea i couldent beleave how smooth it all went...that'll never happen again
you still need to add an f350 rear spring block or add some leafs, and a front end alignment now.
ideally, that is if you still plan on using the truck to haul stuff, the rear should setup an inch or two higher than the front like stock again.then as you add weight, rather than sinking at first,it levels out.
i dunno how you use your rig though,if its all play or whatever, but just in case ya didn't know.
here's one setup with priority being appearance when empty, and working.light front ends when towing/hauling is dangerous and not much fun to drive either,i know lol.
you could pile the mains right up on her if your set on sitting level when empty.but she's gunna ride hard.
im wayyy ahead of ya 250, i swaped an add a leaf and a 2 inch block in the rear so it sits with a pretty much factory rake. its a work truck that doubles as a daily driver. i hauled a load of scrap today, around a ton in the bed. hauled it like a champ. all i really need to do is bet a new set of tires. the ones i got seem to not like to stay round anymore.
