i seem to be having leaking problems with my radiator and i was wondering if its ok to use bars leak in pressurized coolant system, it will be a temp fix till i get a new raditor
the new copper head gasket and cracked head type bars leak is a long way from the stuff we used 20 years ago to mend pin holes in radiators... dont knock it untill you have tried it. It is NOT a temporary fix. YOu cant believe some of the things i have see it fix. Dont believe the old wives tale of it plugging radiators or heater cores either. Neither is a fact.
I used it about 10 years ago on my 91' S-10. I replaced the radiator a week or two later and about a month after that my heater core started leaking. I'm not sure if that caused the problem but when I removed the old heater core it appeared to be clogged up pretty bad.
I would just replace the radiator rather then spend the money on leak stop and then replace the radiator and the heater core. JMO

I will knock it, I have tried it. It is plugged radiator and heater core in a bottle. Believe the old wives tails, been through it myself. It is a fact, and if it hasn't happened to you, you have been lucky.
I have had great success, and still have good cooling and heat 2 winters later. Recommend it to several that have had gasket or pin holes in the head and helped them also... I would not recommend it for a radiator that has a 4 inch tear in it... thats not too bright. Use it as intended for head or head gasket cracks and it will work as they say.

Easily said when you can't be held financially responsible for the damages that occur. Take it from someone who have had problems with the stuff, if you want a good cooling system, fix the part that is leaking.
If you have blow a head gasket its cause you've already overheated due to a poorly maintained cooling system, enough said.
