Pulling the dash pad

I have an opportunity at getting a pretty sweet OEM dash pad, but it's been a while since I pulled one. And I can't seem to find the locations of the screws in my manuals. I know there are 8 of them, and I need to remove the glove box and the gauge panel...but if someone could post up or tell me along the lines of where the screws are at, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Search function is your friend. I saw this thread just yesterday when I was trying figure out how to remove my dash pad:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...d-removal.html

The fourth post seems to have pretty explicit instructions.

Inside view of dash pad and where the nuts are. I think there are 8 and I believe one is hiding that I don't have in the pictures. I have an A/C dash. Hope it helps a bit.

Man oh man...thanks for the info guys. As for the search, yeah it's fine and dandy, and I typically try to, but time doesn't always allow you the ability to search or read through a thread.

I know what you mean. I had just seen the thread I linked to just yesterday so I knew exactly where it was.

Take care -

I'm almost positive it's 5/16 or 9mm. I'm thinking I used 9mm.

I saw this picture in a different thread the other day while searching on tachometers. It's a picture of only part of the dash but could give you some idea.

7/16 it is, there is also one stud on the front of the dash on the center drop piece.
