Here's some.pics
It has a 4 speed what looks to be a 300 and a dana 24 transfer case as well as what I think is a dana 44
1965/74 F100/350: There's no way to tell a 240 from a 300 by looking at it, as the block, bore and casting numbers are the same.
The only way to determine the engine size is to measure the stroke.
as you can see someone likely cut out this hole with a saw of some sorts and left a weird hole that does not match the rubber cover as well as the blur cover there doesn't actually have holes to bolt it down to anything. It was vi'ed in 2014 and passed so everything is legit
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
According to my Canadian "1965 Ford and Mercury Trucks Shop Manual", Paint Code "UP" decodes differently to what Bill has noted. Your truck was originally Tu-Tone in colour, Wimbledon White and Champagne Beige. Is it still?
I realize that from his books, he's correct that "U = Honey Gold" as a solid colour (we have had this discussion about 6 years ago), but I don't believe it's correct for a Tu-Tone paint scheme.

Note: There is no "rag joint" (steel/rubber steering coupler) on a 1966 F100 4WD.
The lower steering shaft and coupler assembly connects to the input shaft of the steering gearbox with a clamp and thru-bolt.
The hood and front fenders on this truck don't scream 1966 to me, but someone may have changed things around. For 1966 there is no side hood emblem - those were instead on the fenders just below where they appear. Either someone welded up the original holes and moved the emblem to the hood or it may have some sheetmetal from an older year slick. If you open the hood and take a picture of the top edge of the fender we can tell more as the stamping changed somewhat.
Nevertheless, sounds like a cool truck and should be good in the snow which never hurts.
