I would like to find out what Engine i have in it. I pulled some casting numbers from the top in front of the carb, 6A19 C5AE9425B, those where all i could find other than the firing order on top behind the carb.
I currently work as a mechanic at a Ford Dealership but do not have access to the parts department's "knowledge" if you will.
Here you are: F10 = F100 2 wheel drive truck. Y = 352 2bbl V8 engine. L = built at Michigan Truck plant, Wayne, MI. 821512 = built in February, 1966. 115 = your wheelbase in inches. P = exterior color Antique Bronze. F101 = 4200 pound GVW rating. B81 = will discuss at end. C = 3 speed manual medium duty transmission. 17 = Ford 9 inch non-limited slip axle with 3.25 gears. 4200 = Max GVW rating. 172 @4000 is your 352's NET horsepower and the engine speed at which achieved. 21 = Atlanta, the district sales office from which the truck was ordered. I've lost access to my official Body Code decoder (B81), but I think it's interior upholstery color blue crush vinyl and woven plastic in a Custom Cab. I could be wrong on that, however. Hope this helps.
I'm Back with a recently adquired 1966 Ford F100 Long bed 4 Speed stick transmission (one of those big trainies with the first grinding gears stic on the fllor),,
I was wondering if some one can hel me to dcode de vin number on it so I can get a New starter and a water pump for it.

Militos,
WELCOME BACK INTO THE FOLD!
Looks like your truck as a 352" V8 engine with a NP 435 4-speed, transmission and was assembled in December, 1965.
Just remember: What is on the Warranty Data Plate isn't always still in the truck.
After 46+ years, we all need to watch out for changes......sometimes parts get changed to non-oem parts.
352 V8s get switched out for 390s or 360s, NP435s get switched out for a T18 or a T19, etc.....
Good Luck & when you can, post some pics of your new-to-you ol' Ford!

Thanks to you both. I had a lot of it figured out, other than the build date and the color of interior and exterior. One place I looked said springtime yellow, but another place I looked said tan. It is far from tan to me anyway. I got the motor running the other day. Sounds sweet. I can't tell if it has been redone, I am sure it has, being a 47 yr old truck. Got some small rust issues in the floorboards, and the bed. I am going to try and talk the wife into letting me keep it so I can fix it up. It looks like the original carburator, and it also has the oil bath breather.
