We have had almost NO RAIN all year long...it has been a very dry year for sure!...now we'll probably have record snow fall this year to make up for it! LOL
Speaking of snow fall...my wife has been complaining since I have been spending so much time in Los Angeles for work that it always seems to snow when I'm out enjoying the sun and she can't easily use our big 10hp 2 stage snow thrower...so I broke down and bought her a small 21" single stage 4 stroke briggs and stratton with electric start...I was surprised that you plug this model in to utilize the start mechanism...which is great since I don't have to worry about another battery!...after you crank it over you unplug it and whalla...I must be out of touch that I didn't realize they had these out there...you can also simply use the pull start...but for her it is much easier to simply plug in and hit a button to start. I was also surprised that it was only $380...which I didn't think was too too bad...and for $380 to keep momma happy...it is money well spent!...now I've got two snow blowers...so with that said...we shouldn't get any snow this year!...LOL
Man I wouldnt know what a snow blower looks like let alone how to use it hehe. So my hats off to her for doing so. I personally couldnt care for the white stuff and the few times a year we see it is too much for me.
You know I had a job offer to switch from DOD over to Ft Wayne for something a few years back. I decided not to, as my wife wasnt too keen on moving just yet.
Also a great place to live (real estate is relatively low and stable)...
Having grown up in NJ...and all the traveling I do for work to LA area...you can keep the traffic...Now...if there were places to work for me in NW NJ area...man that is a great area...unfortunately most of the high tech jobs are all along the coast area and that entails commuting...right now I live 4 miles one way to work...no tolls...no traffic...I wouldn't trade it for anything!...
But...we also have been in a lot of places in the US for travels and know there are so many beautiful places to call home...
