We had about 4" of lake effect here late Friday night/Saturday morning. I sure wasn't ready to see that much snow yet!! Supposed to be 62 here in NW Indiana today, which will hopefully let me get some more leaves picked up. I have almost 100 trees on just shy of 2 acres, and it is a pain....

Which lake do you vacation at, Joe? Is it near Wawasee/Syracuse, or up around Big Turkey/Lake James area? There is some beautiful country around there....

Bob,

I saw all the lake effect snow up there the end of last week...WOW...

I was in LA last week and they had record heat...it was 98°F on Wednesday!!!...too hot for me actually!

Good luck getting the rest of those leaves picked up...there's nothing worse than trying to pick up wet/damp leaves!

My wife's family has had a lake cottage in Coldwater Michigan area since 1953...so it is just right over the border of Michigan. We're actually near Quincy Michigan on the Coldwater lake chain...it is where I catch my freezer load full of crappies in the spring! My girls also get to tube and water ski on these lakes...my youngest (11) daughter finally got to get up on one ski this year...the older daughter (13) has yet to do that!...so one for the little sis!!!

Do you go to any lakes in Indiana?

Check your reps!

I used to tournament bass fish back in the 80's and early 90's, and used to fish the Coldwater chain every so often. Coldwater lake, Marble lake, etc. Also used to fish the Randall Chain up around there... A close friend has a place up on Portage Lake....

I am going to get another boat in the near future for me and the boys. They like to fish. I like going over to Sylvan Lake by Rome City for bluegill...(My secret spot).

Bob,

We've fished much of the same waters!

My in-laws are on Archer lake...that is the one just next to Marble...I fish over on Marble quite a bit...there's two sunken islands on the east end that I fish surrounded by like 40' of water...

I've ice fished Sylvan lake many times...usually go on by Jean-Stratton Porters place and walk across to by Boy Scout island...awesome bluegils in that lake!...BTW...Sylvan isn't much of a secret...now you may have a secret cove you like to fish! LOL

We'll have to hook up in the spring up on Archer for slaying some crappies!

Joe.

Good morning everyone...anything good on the agenda for this fine Tuesday?

We celebrated my wife's grandmother's 90th birthday yesterday...She's in a nursing home and has her moments of remembering who you are...but mostly she doesn't remember much...She really enjoyed having all those people there yesterday for cake and ice cream!!!...I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make it that long!

Everyone have a great day today!!!
