Good morning everyone!
Chris...yeah I tend to travel quite a bit for work...it's okay and allows our family to do quite a bit pretty inexpensively for vacations...in fact our April trip to Hawaii at a couple of 5 Star places (Grand Wailea on Maui and Waikiloki Village - Big Island) which would cost about $4500-$5000 total for our 9 nights and the airfare are all free...plus one of the rental cars are also free...so...while the time away from home stinks as well as being stuck in airports for snowstorms, other weather and mechanical issues...there are some pluses. Also at least I get to spend my time in the Delta Skyclub if I am delayed...so that's not too bad...plus I'm EMPLOYED...right! haha

Yeah I know about having more miles then I know what to do with...
In the last year I've booked/used close to 650,000 miles with 'free' tickets for this or that and I STILL have 500,000 miles and quickly growing every week!!!
83 and a world traveler...God bless her is right...I just pray I MAKE IT to 83 let alone be able to travel!...LOL

Good morning everyone...it is another brisk 28°F here this morning!
Went out last night to a local bar (not something we do very often) and saw a couple of buddies that I work with that also play in a band...I guess I'm getting old...they didn't start playing until 10pm!!!...thankfully we got an extra hours sleep this morning...not...we ate that up since we didn't get home until about 1:30 or so (actual time)...anyways...they are pretty good and play a mix of 60's to 2000's...always a nice time getting out with the wife for a few hours and having a couple of drinks and listening to some good old fashioned rock and roll!
Gotta head up to the lake this morning to finish up the leaves (raking and burning) and then stuff the winterized boat into the garage for the winter...that is always fun putting the boat in the garage...I literally have 1-2" of clearance on each side going in and I don't bring the Ex with her big mirrors...well because it is overkill...the boat weighs all of 2500#'s and the lake is 50 miles away and the Ex gets such fantastic fuel mileage...
Speaking of fuel...What the Heck...!...it is $2.99/gal for 87 here this weekend and I saw diesel at one station for $3.65!!!...what are they blaming this on this time?
Hopefully it will go down a bit before we head east to NJ to see my sister for turkey day...but it is what it is...they have us by the you know whats and they know it!
Hope everyone has a good Sunday!...looks to be an awesome day here in north east Indiana!!!
Joe.
