This weekend I replaced both my egr and oil coolers, upgraded fuel pressure spring, and installed EGT probe. Truck is running great. Starts quicker, turbo is more responsive, mpg improved and it starts immediately but now it is throwing a p2284 code.
What should I be looking for?
I keep retracking all wiring and harnesses and all look to be attached properly.
Should I clear it and see if it pops up again? I was thinking that maybe it through the code on the intial start after repairs and never reset, or maybe I am way off base. Thanks in advance.
we would all love to help you out but its rather hard to do so not knowing what year the truck is. if its either an 03 or 04 please let us know weather the icp sensor is on the passanger valve cover. if you dont know what an icp sensor is... what shape the egr cooler is/was. either round or square.
you need to look at icpv pid and see what it is key on engine off.
with limited info I suspect you have an issue with either the sensor or connector.
