Wondering what the best replacement headlight bulb might be for my 97'

Silverstar's? G.E.? PIAA?

I definitely don't want to get pulled over by Johnny but the bulbs i'm running are downright pale..

Thanks Folks!

P.S. Changed the oil today and the truck felt zippier afterward.. Guess it likes fresh delo and anti-freeze.. Can't imagine what she'd do on full synthetic..

Are you headlight lenses foggy? That can cause the yellowish light also.

If you have nice clear lenses then Silverstars or PIAA would probably be good enough.

I haven't taken a close look at the lenses, I was actually worried that they are toast. I'm guessing I'll need a plastic polish if they are bad..

You can get some nice new clear ones off of ebay for a pretty good price. Look up 92-96 Bronco/F150 headlights.

Mine are pretty much toast... I'm hoping to get new headlights and maybe HID bulbs

Sweet! You'll love those mods.

I just looked on ebay for "bronco headlights" and found just headlights for $40 a pair, and clear headlight and corners together for $70 a pair.

And you can get a HID retro kit to replace the 9007 bulbs for about $160 here:

do those HID's aim properly? I don't want to blind anyone like all the new expensive cars blind me. I drive mostly dark country roads. I'm not opposed to the HID's, I guess I would like to maybe see their output on a similar truck..

Very nice setup.. I was in Wally World today and checked out some bulbs.. I ended up getting some plastic polish instead..

What's bumming me out at the moment is that my windshield washer wont spray!

Mine won't either, but that's because I broke the tube under the cowl trying to clean out one of the nozzles. Havn't gotten around to pulling the cowl off and replacing it.

Guess I need to do some old fashion trouble shooting... Since being "disabled", some things seem like a bit of a chore..

FWIW on my HID's...

I love 'em. BRIGHT is an understatement. Proper aiming is key. I reused the adjusters from my stock headlights, they are aimed pretty much straight ahead. My truck sits a tad higher in the front than the rear (about 1.5" or so... that will be fixed soon) and has the RSK up front (3" over stock). I get flashed by roughly 1 in every 10-15 cars, depending on the day. I do need to point them down slightly, but I'm waiting until I get the rear end lifted a little and some bigger tires on so I don't have to do it over again.
I used the DDM HID kit and so far so good.
