IPR questions
My IPR is leaking oil pretty good, it's even in the plug. Is it still rebuildable or is it ready for replacement? Next question is if it's rebuildable how does it come apart? I took the tin nut and sleeve off but nothing else would come out..
Tried taking the IPR out as a assy but it won't spin past the plug, does the HPOP need to come out?

You need to take the tin nut off, pull the solenoid off, then use a DEEP 1 1/8" socket on a 1/2" drive ratchet to get it out. There is are 3 o-rings on it, change them all w/ the kit from Ford. The big one at the base of the threads can leak some.

Thanks for the response guys! Dummy me wasn't getting the selonid free of the shaft. Was able to get a 1 1/8 closed end wrench and break it free. (thanks for the offer Phil!) The rings looked ok, but will wait till the IH dealer opens up monday.
Pulled and IPR off an old bus engine but the last ring on it was busted.
