Your injector was not cut at all. I replaced the o-rings, lubed them with oil and snapped the proto on. It fit perfectly and the holes aligned on the same elevation. Thanks for the injector!

Its in my CNC guys hands right now, we just have one issue to overcome, and I should have a couple sets ready for testing.

That design is what I envisioned to solve the issues with the plastic caps. If you could bolt it to the valve cover with bolts that have threads on top of the bolt cap, you could use rubber grommets to stabilize it and prevent vibrations travelling through it. Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder!

There is .030" of squish on each O-ring, so I dont think vibrations are going to be a big issue, and thats more than enough to pick up any variance between injectors... We just have to see. If they dont like vibration and want to move around, thats a good idea.

So I'm just curious when the testing will start and when you project to be selling these?

Can you make these in aluminum? If you can, I would be super interested. Actually, even if you can't, I'm interested. I don't believe I can pm yet, so how can I reach you about these?

I was tempted to order these when I ordered a cam the other day, but held off as I've been told you cannot remove the valve covers without removing these rails. I'm not sure if the design has been revised to clear the valve covers though, I did not ask. I'm not looking forward to messing with caps and return lines again though, it took a few tries to get my 6.9 sealed up tight last time I touched the fuel system.

What I wonder is why would you need to go under the valve cover? In most cases if you were you would be taking the caps off anyways. I don't see the concern or big deal really.
